MUDr. David Šilhán, Ph.D.

Office hours: Monday 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Wednesday 7:30 a.m. – 4:15 p.m., Friday 7:45 a.m. - 1:45 p.m.

MUDr. David Šilhán graduated from Charles University in Prague with summa cum laude (with the highest distinction). He subsequently worked as a neurologist at the Faculty Hospital of Královské Vinohrady (FNKV) in Prague, where he completed neurological specialization and subsequently received a certificate in the field of neurology with honors. During his time at the FNKV, he defended his dissertation on the topic of Alzheimer's disease and the use of magnetic resonance in its diagnostics and received the prestigious scientific title Ph.D.

He is an expert neurologist with many years of experience in specialized acute care at the emergency department of FNKV, including work in the intensive care unit. He also has extensive experience in chronic neurological care at the JL Clinic in Prague.
He worked as an expert in a specialized outpatient clinic for the diagnosis and treatment of memory disorders, including Alzheimer's disease, at the Neurology Department of the FNKV and at National Institute of Mental Health. He also specializes in the issues of spinal pain, headaches, cerebrovascular diseases and movement disorders.

MUDr. David Šilhán, Ph.D. is the first author of a number of professional scientific articles on neurological topics published in prestigious international scientific journals. As an expert, he participates in global scientific conferences, where he actively presents the conclusions of his scientific work.

For many years, he worked as a lecturer in neurology at the Neurology Department of the 3rd Faculty of Medicine and the FNKV, where he led internships for medical students and lectured on selected neurological topics.

MUDr. Michaela Kesslerová

MUDr. Michaela Kesslerová

MUDr. Michaela Kesslerová is a certified doctor in the field of neurology.

She has extensive experience from the Neurological Clinic FNKV in Prague, where she worked in outpatient neurology and also in the intensive care unit.

She taught medical students in the field of neurology at the 3rd Faculty of Medicine in Prague.

She specializes in patients with spinal pain, and can apply caudal pressure blockade.

She completed a manual medicine course and worked in the EMG laboratory.

MUDr. Vanda Fuksová

MUDr. Vanda Fuksová

Office hours: Thursday 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

MUDr. Vanda Fuksová is a doctor with a specialized qualification in the field of neurology.

She worked primarily at the Neurological Clinic of the FNKV. Here, she cared for patients with a wide spectrum of neurological diagnoses. She worked both in the emergency neurological department and also in the intensive care unit.

She specializes in spine pain, including the application of caudal pressure blockade, injection of sacroiliac joints and other procedures.

She was a part of the multidisciplinary team of the Pain Management Center and the Spasticity Management Center.

She completed a certified course dedicated to the examination of a spinal patient organized by the Spinal Unit of the FN Motol.

MUDr. Michal Židó, Ph.D.

MUDr. Michal Židó, Ph.D.

Office hours: Thursday 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Michal Židó is a neurologist with many years of experience in specialized acute care at the emergency department of the Neurology Faculty Hospital of Královské Vinohrady (FNKV) in Prague, including work in the intensive care unit of Neurology of the FNKV. He also works as an expert in a specialized ambulance for the diagnosis and treatment of demyelinizating diseases of the central nervous system. He also specializes in clinical neurophysiology (evoked potentials – MEP, SEP, VEP and BAEP; electromyography).

He holds a certificate for neurological and cerebrospinal fluid cytodiagnostics.
He holds a doctoral degree (PhD), he defended his dissertation on the topic of Metabolomics of cerebrospinal fluid in multiple sclerosis in 2024. He is the author of professional scientific publications in prestigious international scientific journals. At the same time, he regularly actively participates in many scientific local and international conferences. He also contributes to the EUNI Electronic University. (www.euni.cz).
He is a member of the scientific panels for multiple sclerosis and clinical neurophysiology of the European Academy of Neurology (EAN).

For several years, he has been working as a lecturer in neurology at the Neurological Clinic 3. LF and FNKV in Prague, where he leads internships for medical students and lectures on neurological topics.
